Public Education

Public Education: The Springfield Township Fire Department is committed to offering public education in an effort to mitigate the risk of fire and other emergencies.

• CPR/AED/First Aid – If you are in need of CPR, AED, or first aid training, contact LT. Ben Kohler
• Fire Extinguisher training – If you or your business is in need of fire extinguisher training, contact LT. Marc Welsh
• Stop The Bleed – If you or your business are in need of Stop the Bleed training, contact LT. Ben Kohler 
• Public Relations – The Springfield Township Fire Department endeavors to be a partner with our community members. We regularly attend community events. If you would like to have a crew present at your function, contact Nellie.ball@springfieldfire.com.
• Safety Town – The Springfield Township Fire Department and the Village of Holland Police Department offer a two-week safety camp each summer for children who will be entering kindergarten in the fall.
