Springfield Township Fire Department being established in 1950 has a long history of community involvement.  We are committed to providing the highest quality services to the citizens of Springfield Township and surrounding areas.  We provide emergency services through contractual obligation for the Townships’ of Spencer, Swanton, and the Village of Holland.

Springfield Township Fire Department is a full-time career department that has 80 highly skilled men and women who pride themselves on quality service to our citizens.  Our mission is to continuously protect our residents/visitors through an all-hazard response; we accomplish this through quality education, prevention programs, disaster preparedness and rapid emergency response within our 66 square mile service area.

Our agency strives to lead our profession with state of the art technology and programs.  As Chief of Springfield Township Fire Department, it is a pleasure to work with dedicated personnel that devote themselves selflessly.  I am proud to have the opportunity to lead this organization into the future.
